Pizza 4P’s HCMC / Pizza 4P’s ホーチミン市

2011.
For 07BEACH’s first project after becoming independent as a designer, a restaurant called Pizza4P’s in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam was designed.
First floor: Pizza can have an original taste by the combination of ingredients.
The restaurant itself will be a unique combination of Vietnam, a sense of Japanese, and pizza, a Western food.
The interior design also combines elements of Vietnam, Japan, and the West, aiming for something unique and original.
Second floor: the client requested a space with surprise, buzz, and entertainment value and the room works as a playroom for children during the day and a dining room for adults at night.
07BEACH responded with a bold composition with the high ceiling while applying a subdued color scheme.

2011年
デザイナーとして独立後初めての仕事で、ベトナムのホーチミン市にPizza4P’sと言うレストランを作った。
1階:ピザも食材のMIXの妙でオリジナルなものになる。
店自体もベトナムと言う土地+日本人の感性+西欧の食べ物であるピザがMIXされた今までに無いモノになると考えた。
内装もベトナムと日本と西欧の要素が混ざり合い、結果として何風でも無いオリジナルになる事を目指した。
2階:昼は子供のプレイルームとして夜は大人のダイニングとして、サプライズ、話題性、エンターテイメント性のある空間を求められ、落ち着いた配色の仕上げと、高さを生かした大胆な構成で応えようとした。

2012.
Pizza 4P’s quickly outgrew its space and rented an adjoining building to add a bar, pizza oven, and seating.
The front half of the building is an open bar with high ceilings, while the back half has a lowered ceiling and a raised floor with a ramp that leads up to a seating area with an intimate ambiance.

2012年
Pizza 4P’sは大繁盛し店はすぐに手狭になり、隣の建物を借り足し、BARやピザ窯、客席を追加で作った。
手前半分は高い天井を生かし開放的なBarに、奥に行く程に天井が下がり、スロープで床が上がり、そのスロープを上った先に、包み込まれる様な落ち着きを持つ客席を作った。

2013.
The restaurant was further expanded to the building next door to create a kitchen, cheese shop, seating area, and private rooms.
The first floor was clad with the handiwork of mosaic stones. On the second floor, a bay window was added as a motif of rich tropical vegetation in a private room.

2013年
更に反対隣の建物へと拡張し、厨房、チーズ販売所、客席、個室などを作った。
1階では人の手仕事の集積そのものが仕上となって現れるような感覚でモザイク石張りの客席を、2階は個室を作り南国の豊かな植物をモチーフに出窓を加えた。

As a result, 07BEACH was able to gain valuable experience working on a single restaurant’s growth for as long as three years.
In designing the floor expansion, we wanted to be consistent with what we had thought in the past, but at the same time, we wanted to express ourselves in a way that was possible only now, with the experience we have gained since then.
The boundary wall was opened to connect the existing restaurant and the expansion into a single space. While retaining commonalities with the existing section in terms of materials and colors, we aimed to create an interior suitable for a restaurant that continues to develop through the use of new materials and a bold arrangement of shapes.

結果的に3年と言う長期間に渡って一軒のレストランデザインに携わると言う貴重な経験をする事が出来た。
増床のデザインにおいては、過去に考えた事と矛盾しないように、同時にその後の経験を経た今だから出来る表現をしたいと言う気持ちで取り組んだ。
境界壁を開口し既存レストランと拡張部分が一つに繋がる。素材や色使いで既存部との共通性を残しながら、新たな素材使い、大胆な形状の配置で、発展し続けるレストランに相応しい内装を目指した。
